WHEREAS, Request for Proposals were solicited for a annual contract, with two (2)
annual options to renew for a period of one (1) year, for real estate broker services on
behalf of the City of Beaumont to list and sell City -owned properties; and,
WHEREAS, NAI Wheeler, of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a response in the amount
of six percent (6 %) if another broker is involved and three percent (3 %) if no other broker
is involved; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by NAI Wheeler,
of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by NAI Wheeler, of Beaumont, Texas, for an annual
contract, with two (2) annual options to renew for a period of one (1) year, for real estate
broker services to list and sell City -owned property in the amount of six percent (6 %) if
another broker is involved and three (3 %) if no other broker is involved be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
