BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to receive funding for the City of
Beaumont through the Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) in the amount of
$82,131.64 under the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP). The City of Beaumont
was awarded $60,631.64 under the first responder program for the replacement of
approximately thirteen mobile data computers (MDCs) and $21,500 under the law
enforcement program for use by the Police Department for the purchase of one mobile
fingerprint scanner and the replacement of one mobile data computer.
