WHEREAS, bids were solicited for renovation of the Municipal Airport terminal
building; and,
WHEREAS, Bruce's General Construction, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a
bid for an estimated amount of$84,500 in the unit amounts shown below:

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Bruce's
General Construction, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Bruce's General Construction, Inc.,of Beaumont,Texas,
for renovation of the Municipal Airport terminal building for an estimated amount of$84,500
and in the unit amounts shown above, be accepted by the City of Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Bruce's General Construction, Inc., of Beaumont,
Texas, for the purposes described herein.
