WHEREAS, bids were solicited for masonry restoration of the Julie Rogers Theatre;
and,
WHEREAS, Moore's Waterproofing, of Vidor, Texas, submitted a bid for an
estimated amount of$268,550 in the unit amounts shown below:

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Moore's
Waterproofing, of Vidor, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Moore's Waterproofing, of Vidor, Texas, for masonry
restoration of the Julie Rogers Theatre for an estimated amount of$268,550 and in the unit
amounts shown above, be accepted by the City of Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Moore's Waterproofing, of Vidor, Texas, for the
purposes described herein.
