WHEREAS, bids were solicited for an annual contract for heating, ventilation, and air
conditioning (HVAC) repair and service for City-owned HVAC equipment; and,
WHEREAS, Associated Mechanical Systems, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a
bid for an estimated amount of$269,100 in the unit amounts shown in Exhibit 'A" attached
hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Associated
Mechanical Systems, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in all
things, approved and adopted; and,
THATthe bid submitted by Associated Mechanical Systems, Inc.,of Beaumont,Texas,
for an annual contract for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)equipment repair
and service for City-owned HVAC equipment for an estimated annual cost of$269,100 in the
unit amounts shown in Exhibit 'A" attached hereto, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 28th day of August,
2012.
