WHEREAS, the claim of Betty Williams, has been discussed in an Executive ,
Session properly called and held Tuesday, June 5, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, City Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are herein, in
all things, approved and adopted; and
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Betty
Williams in the amount of Eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 12th day of
June, 2012.
