WHEREAS, the claim of Wellhimina Owusu has been discussed in an Executive
Session properly called and held Tuesday, April 17, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of
Wellhimina Owusu in the amount of Nine Thousand Three Hundred and XX/100 Dollars
($9,300.00); and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all documents related to settlement of the claim.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of April,
2012.
