WHEREAS, the lawsuit styled Dana Gollihare and Ray Rattray. Individually.and as
Next Friend of Cameron Rattray v. City of Beaumont, Cause No. E-186,787, was
discussed in Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, March 20, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit styled
Dana Gollihare and Ray Rattray, Individually, and as Next Friend of Cameron Rattray v
City of Beaumont, Cause No. E-186,787;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit styled
Dana Gollihare and Ray Rattray. Individually, and as Next Friend of Cameron Rattray v
City of Beaumont, Cause No. E-186,787, for the sum of Eighteen Thousand Six and
30/100 Dollars ($18,006.30); and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all documents related to settlement of the lawsuit.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20th day of
March, 2012.
