WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the purchase of furniture for the R.C. Miller
Library located at 1605 Dowlen Road; and,
WHEREAS, Hernandez Office Supply, of Nederland, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$57,995.96; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Hernandez
Office Supply, of Nederland, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Hernandez Office Supply, of Nederland, Texas, for the
purchase of furniture for the R.C. Miller Library in the amount of$57,995.96 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 7th day of
February, 2012.
