WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the purchase of forty-four(44) lighting fixtures,
poles and appurtenances for use in Riverfront Park; and,
WHEREAS, Consolidated Electric, Inc.,of Beaumont,Texas,submitted a bid in the
amount of$94,598.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Consolidated
Electric, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Consolidated Electric, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, for the
purchase of forty-four(44) lighting fixtures, poles and appurtenances for use in Riverfront
Park in the amount of$94,598 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 27th day of
September, 2011.
