WHEREAS, bids were received for the renovation of a building located at 790
Orleans Street for use by the Police Department Office of Family Violence; and,
WHEREAS, Centerline Construction Services, Inc.,of Beaumont,Texas,submitted
a bid in the amount of$355,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Centerline
Construction Services, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Centerline Construction Services, of Beaumont, Texas,
for the renovation of a building located at 790 Orleans Street for use by the Police
Department Office of Family Violence, in the amount of$355,000, be accepted by the City
of Beaumont; and,
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Centerline Construction Services, Inc. for the purposes described herein.
