WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing and installing chain link fencing at the
Water Utilities Complex; and,
WHEREAS, National Fence Company, of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$49,672.59; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by National Fence
Company, of Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by National Fence Company, of Houston, Texas, for
furnishing and installing chain link fencing at the Water Utilities Complex, in the amount of
$49,672.59, be accepted by the City of Beaumont; and,
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
National Fence Company for the purposes described herein.
