WHEREAS, Resolution No. 11-046, dated February 1, 2011, awarded a six (6)
month contract to Ashland, Inc., of Wilmington, Delaware, for the purchase of wastewater
treatment Polymer for use by the Water Reclamation Division; and,
WHEREAS,agenda information provided to the City Council incorrectly represented
the contract as a six (6) month contract; and,
WHEREAS, the bid specifications stated that the bid was to be awarded for a one
(1) year contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT Resolution No. 11-046 be amended to correct the term of the contract to
reflect one (1) year.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 15th day of
February, 2011.
