ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF MAIN
STREET AT THE KCS RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY IN THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a portion of Main Street at the KCS Railroad right-of-way, being a 0.13 acre portion
of Main Street beginning at the east right-of-way line of the intersection of Main Street and
the Kansas City Southern Railroad right-of-way and continuing in a southwesterly direction
to the west right-of-way line of the intersection of Main Street and the Kansas City Southern
Railroad right-of-way, City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.13 acres,
more or less, as described in Exhibit "A" and shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto, be and
the same is hereby closed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1st day of
February, 2011.

Being a 0.13 acre portion of Main Street beginning at the east right-of-way line of the

continuing in a southwesterly direction to the west right-of-way line of the intersection of
Main Street and the Kansas City Southern Railroad right-of-way,City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.13 acres,more or less.
