WHEREAS,the claim of Christy Morgan has been discussed in an Executive Session
properly called and held Tuesday, January 25, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Christy Morgan
in the amount of One Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($125,000).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1st day of
February, 2011./l
