WHEREAS, the claim of Tommy G. Nelson III has been discussed in an Executive
Session properly called and held Tuesday, December 7, 2010; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Tommy
G. Nelson III in the amount of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 14th day of
December, 2010.
