WHEREAS, bids were solicited for an annual contract for the purchase of ready-mix
concrete and related materials for use by the Water Utilities Department and Streets and
Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Mix of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the unit amounts
shown below for an estimated expenditure of$595,850:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the proposal submitted by Transit Mix
of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transit Mix for an annual contract for the purchase of ready-mix
concrete and related materials in the unit amounts shown above for an estimated
expenditure of $595,850 for use by the Water Utilities Department and Streets and
Drainage Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 31st day of
