WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the construction of an Event Center, Lake and
Lawn in downtown Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, C. F. Jordan Construction, L.L.C., of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid
in the amount of$8,126,000 for Alternates 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by C. F. Jordan
Construction, L.L.C., should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by C. F. Jordan Construction, L.L.C., of Houston, Texas, for
construction of an Event Center, Lake and Lawn in downtown Beaumont, in the amount
of$8,126,000 for Alternates 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20th day of April,
2010.
