BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to submit a Texas Transportation
Enhancement Program Application and accept funding, if awarded, to facilitate the
installation of a multi-use path around a Drainage District 6 storm water detention facility
between Folsom and Delaware.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council acknowledges the City's
contribution will be 20% of the estimated total project cost of $2.95 million, or $590,000,
and the City will be 100% responsible for cost overruns, if awarded.
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED THAT the City agrees to commit to the project's
development, implementation, construction, maintenance, management and financing.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 8th day of
December, 2009.
