RESOLUTION NO. 09-318
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to submit a grant application for
the Traffic Signal Synchronization or Replacement Stimulus Grant Program provided by
the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for the purpose of updating and repairing
public infrastructure.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council acknowledges the City's
contribution will be 20% of the estimated total project cost of $2.7 million dollars, or
$540,000, if the grant is awarded.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 13th day of
October, 2009.
