WHEREAS, the lawsuit styled Fannette Entertainment. Inc., v. City of Beaumont.
Texas, Frank Coffin, and Lieutenant Wayne Jeffcoat was discussed in Executive Session
properly called and held Tuesday, September 8, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit styled
Fannette Entertainment, Inc., v. City of Beaumont Texas Frank Coffin and Lieutenant
Wayne Jeffcoat;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit styled
Fannette Entertainment, Inc. v. City of Beaumont Texas Frank Coffin and Lieutenant
Wayne Jeffcoat.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 15th day of
September, 2009.
