WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for grounds maintenance of
City parks and triangles geographically divided into Sections I, II, III, and IV; and,
WHEREAS, Garden of Gethsemane Nursery & Landscaping, LLC, of Beaumont,
submitted a bid in the amount of $27,204.00 for Section I, $18,786.00 for Section II and
$25,581.00 for Section IV for a total contract amount of $71,571 and Perfect Cut Lawn
Care of Beaumont, submitted a bid in the amount of $62,784 for Section III; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Garden of
Gethsemane Nursery & Landscaping, LLC, and Perfect Cut Lawn Care of Beaumont
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Garden of Gethsemane Nursery & Landscaping, LLC, in the
total amount of$71,571 and Perfect Cut Lawn Care in the amount of$62,784 for annual
contracts for grounds maintenance of City parks and triangles be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1st day of
September, 2009.
