WHEREAS, bids were solicited fora contract to furnish Nomex uniforms for the Fire
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Lone Star Uniform, Inc., of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
estimated amount of$184,808 in the unit amounts shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lone Star
Uniform, Inc., of Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lone Star Uniform, Inc., of Houston, Texas, for a contract to
furnish Nomex uniforms for the Fire Department for an estimated cost of$184,808 in the
unit amounts shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
August, 2009.
