WHEREAS, the lawsuit styled Kenneth Allison and his wife, Genevieve Allison v.
Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company, et al was discussed in Executive Session
properly called and held Tuesday, June 30, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit styled
Kenneth Allison and his wife, Genevieve Allison v. Mustang Tractor and Equipment
Company, et al;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit styled
Kenneth Allison and his wife. Genevieve Allison v. Mustang Tractor and Equipment
Company, et al by accepting the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
August, 2009.
