WHEREAS, bids were solicited for a contract for the purchase and installation of
illuminated street name signs; and,
WHEREAS, Southwest Signal Supply, Inc., of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in
the amount of$810,867.20; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Southwest
Signal Supply, Inc., of Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Southwest Signal Supply, Inc., of Houston, Texas, for a
contract for the purchase and installation of illuminated street name signs in the amount
of$810,867.20 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
June, 2009.
