BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and accept grant
funding through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program
funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 to be used to
install HVAC automation controls in the Civic Center, City Hall, Police Building, Julie
Rogers Theatre, Tyrrell Historical Library, Municipal Court and the Main Library; replace
the original windows at the Julie Rogers Theatre with Low E insulated glass windows; and
fund the cost of an energy management study of all City facilities.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
June, 2009.
