WHEREAS, bids were solicited for furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and
supplies for the construction of eight(8)tennis courts and additional parking at the Athletic
Complex; and,
WHEREAS, McInnis Construction of Silsbee, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of $1,156,900; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by McInnis
Construction of Silsbee, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by McInnis Construction of Silsbee, Texas, in the amount of
$1,156,900 for furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supplies for the construction
of eight(8)tennis courts and additional parking at the Athletic Complex be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
June, 2009.
