WHEREAS, the claim of Betty Clay, has been discussed in an Executive Session
properly called and held Tuesday, April 21, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Betty Clay in
the amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 28th day of April,
2009.
