BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney or his designee is hereby authorized to file and prosecute a lawsuit
against Brystar Contracting, Inc., and Bituminous Casualty Corp. and, if necessary, other
parties seeking recovery of the City's damages, interest and attorney's fees and expenses
in defending Ms. Carolyn Faul's claim against the City and the City's claim against Brystar
Contracting, Inc., and Bituminous Casualty Corp.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 28th day of April,
2009.
