BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT an Ad Hoc Committee be established for the purpose of determining the economic
feasibility of a Recycling Program in the City of Beaumont, Texas.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Committee shall be composed of nine (9)
members, three (3) appointed by the Mayor and one (1) appointed by each City Council
member. The Mayor shall name one of the members as Chairman and one as Vice-
Chairman. Members of the Committee shall serve without compensation and shall serve
at the pleasure of the City Council.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 21 st day of April,
2009.
