ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A TWENTY FOOT (20') ALLEY IN BLOCK 11, CALDER
ADDITION, AT CALDER AVENUE AND M. L. KING
PARKWAY, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a 20'x 300'alley in Block 11, Calder Addition, beginning at the east right-of-way line
of Gulf Street and ending at the west right-of-way line of Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway,
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.137 acres, more or less, as
shown on Exhibit"A"attached hereto, be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned
and that title to such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by law, subject to the retention of a twenty foot (20') wide
general utility easement.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 3rd day of
February, 2009. AA
