WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of property
described below for the purpose of locating, constructing and maintaining a public parking
facility:
Lots 172, 173 and 174, Block 38 in the Beaumont Townsite
(320-330 College Street and 890-892 Pearl Street)
Value: $100,000.00
Owner: J. B. Langham Estate
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the above described property be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 3rd day of
February, 2009.
