WHEREAS, bids were solicited for furnishing all labor, materials, supplies and
equipment to renovate the first floor of City Hall; and,
WHEREAS, Bruce's General Construction, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a
bid in the amount of$610,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Bruce's General
Construction, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Bruce's General Construction, Inc., in the amount of$610,000
for furnishing all labor, materials, supplies and equipment to renovate the first floor of City
Hall be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 91h day of
December, 2008.
