BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Allco,
Ltd., Beaumont, Texas, for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation of Small Diameter Mains
Contract-XIV in the amount of$1,387,632.82 to rehabilitate approximately 8,618 linearfeet
of 6-inch, 15,553 linear feet of 8-inch, and 1,070 linear feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer lines;
to furnish and install approximately 4 manholes in the dirt; remove and replace
approximately 47 manholes in the dirt and 22 manholes in the pavement; abandon
approximately 3 manholes; furnish and install approximately 13 end of line clean outs;
replace approximately 523 short side and 7 long side service line connections; and clean
and televise 50,482 linearfeet of existing and newly burst sanitary sewer lines in fourareas
including (1)sections of Cadillac, Flamingo, Fortune Lanes, and Rena and Sarah Streets,
(2) sections of Brandon, Campus, Highland, and Kenneth Avenues, Palm Street, and
Zavalla Drive, (3) sections of Abilene, Buffalo, Detroit, Galveston, Ironton and Steelton
Streets and (4)sections of Bellaire, Derby, Fleetwood,Glasgow,and Pickwick Lanes, Fang
and Howell Courts, Howell Street, Belvedere Drive, Bicentennial Place and Chevy Chase.
