WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for container and solid
waste collections; and,
WHEREAS, Waste Management, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
estimated monthly cost of$6,286.61 and an estimated annual cost of$75,439.32; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Waste
Management, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Waste Management, Beaumont, Texas, for an annual contract
for container and solid waste collections in the estimated monthly cost of $6,286.61 and
an estimated annual cost of$75,439.32 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day November,
2008.
