Whereas, after conferring with weather officials both regionally and with the National
Hurricane Center as well as local emergency management officials and the
Disaster District Chair(DDC) in Beaumont, TX concerning the current forecast
and track of Hurricane Ike; now,
Therefore, effective immediately, I, Mayor Becky Ames hereby order a mandatory
evacuation of all Citizens of the City of Beaumont.
ORDERED this the 11 th day of September, 2008 @ 0600 hours
