WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for electrical services and
materials for City electrical systems; and,
WHEREAS, Gulf Coast Electric, Beaumont,Texas, submitted a bid in the unit costs
shown below for an estimated total annual expenditure of$73,694:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Gulf Coast
Electric, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Gulf Coast Electric, Beaumont, Texas, for an annual contract
for electrical services and materials for City electrical systems in the unit amounts shown
above for an estimated total expenditure of$73,694 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
August, 2008.
