WHEREAS, the claim of Geraldine Tevis has been discussed in an Executive
Session properly called and held Tuesday, July 1, 2008; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Geraldine
Tevis in the amount of Five-Thousand, Two-hundred Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 29th day of July,
2008.
