WHEREAS, on October 23, 2007, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
passed Resolution No. 07-339 awarding a contract in the amount of $269,000 to H. B.
Neild and Sons, Inc. for the First Baptist Church Parking Lot Construction Project; and,
WHEREAS, this project has been inspected and completed in accordance with the
terms and conditions of the contract and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the First Baptist Church Parking Lot Construction Project be and the same is hereby
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City Manager is hereby authorized to make final
payment in the amount of$13,450 to H. B. Neild and Sons, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1 st day of July,
2008.
