BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and receive funding
for the City of Beaumont in the amount of $53,171 from the Edward Byrne Memorial
Justice Assistance Grant Program for law enforcement equipment and programs; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute an inter-local agreement to reallocate funds in the amounts of$11,299 to the
City of Port Arthur, Texas and $7,976 to Jefferson County, Texas.
