WHEREAS, bids were solicited for a contract for the Calder Avenue Drainage
Diversion and Pavement Improvement Project (Phase 1); and,
WHEREAS, Reytec Construction Resources, Inc. of Houston submitted a bid in the
amount of$23,733,567.95; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Reytec
Construction Resources, Inc. of Houston should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Reytec Construction Resources, Inc.of Houston,for a contract
for the Calder Avenue Drainage Diversion and Pavement Improvement Project (Phase 1)
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 10th day of
June, 2008.
