WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of property located
at 1021 Bonham as described below in the amount of $5,000 for the Downtown Event
Center and Lake Park :
Lot 2, Block 23, Van Wormer Addition (1021 Bonham Street)
Appraised Value: $5,000.00[Bishop Real Estate Appraisers, Inc.]
Owner: Verdie M. Carriere, as Surviving Spouse of
Willie Carriere
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the property located at 1021 Bonham Street, as described above,
be and the same is hereby, approved.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 27th day of May,
2008.
