BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute all necessary
documents to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)with the U.S. Department
of Energy Strategic Petroleum Reserve(DOE)for assistance from theirexplosive K-9 teams
and to provide tactical response support in case of extreme emergency or threat incident
against the facility.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day of
March, 2008.
