WHEREAS, bids were solicited to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and
supplies to repair the exterior of the Art Museum of Southeast Texas; and,
WHEREAS, Basco Construction, Inc., Nederland, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$146,185; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Basco
Construction, Inc., Nederland, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of$146,185 submitted by Basco Construction, Inc., Nederland,
Texas, to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supplies to repair the exterior of the
Art Museum of Southeast Texas be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 4th day of
March, 2008.
