WHEREAS,the lawsuit of World Wide Street Preachers' Fellowship, et al vs. Becky
Ames,et al has been discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday,
February 19, 2008; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be,and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of World Wide
Street Preachers' Fellowship, et al vs. Becky Ames, et al in the amount of Twelve
Thousand Dollars ($12,000).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
February, 2008.
