WHEREAS, the claim of Evelyn Allums a/n/f of Michael Allums, a Minor, has been
discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, September 4, 2007;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Evelyn Allums
a/n/f of Michael Allums, a Minor, in the amount of Eighteen-Thousand ($18,000) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day of
December, 2007.
