HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 07-389 RESOLUTION NO. 07-389 WHEREAS, Macy's TX I LP, has agreed to convey a ten-foot (10') wide exclusive Water Line Easement, being a 0.0143 acre of land out of Lot 5, Block 1, Parkdale Addition, Jefferson County, Texas, as described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto, to the City of Beaumont for the purpose of providing access for fire prevention services; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance is necessary and desirable and that same should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the easement conveyed by Macy's TX I LP, as described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B," be and the same is hereby, in all things, accepted. West along the said West line of said Lot 5 and East line-of said Lot 4 a distance of 549.11 feet to an angle point for corner; THENCE North 58 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. East a distance of 31.63 feet to the Southwest corner and PLACE OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract of land; THENCE North 29 deg, 53 min. 34 sec.
