WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of fire hydrants to be installed by
the Water Utilities Department throughout the City as needed; and,
WHEREAS, H. D. Supply Waterworks, Lufkin, Texas, submitted a bid in the unit
amounts shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by H. D. Supply
Waterworks should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by H. D. Supply Waterworks of Lufkin, Texas, for the purchase of
fire hydrants in the unit amounts shown above for an estimated total expenditure of
$129,657.80 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 13th day of
