WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for purchasing fittings, pipes
and couplings for use by the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, various vendors submitted bids in the unit costs shown below:

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by the various
vendors in the amounts shown above for an estimated total contract expenditure of
$543,301.66 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids for an annual contract for purchasing fittings, pipes and couplings for use
by the Water Utilities Department submitted by the vendors in the amounts shown above
for an estimated total contract expenditure of $426,074.46 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of
October, 2007.
