WHEREAS, the claim of Aurora Hector as Parent and Guardian of a Minor, Ebony
Johnson, has been discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday,
July 24, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Aurora Hector
as Parent and Guardian of a Minor, Ebony Johnson, in the amount of Eight-Thousand
($8,000) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 21st day of
August, 2007.
